When the line 8×4 is said on page 10, it refers to a line of Japanese beauty products like shampoo, lotion, etc. The speaker didn’t specify what they were looking for exactly, just some “8×4” – “エイトフォー” so I’ll leave that up to everybody’s imaginations. Thank you very much for these scanlations. This may be my favorite manga out of all that I have read. It looks like the story has begun its long, slow descent into despair. A shame; it seemed like it just might turn out fine just a few chapters ago.

war ? and what will u do ? do u think that if u started translating it then ya are the only scanlators with rights to release onani ? ya are only scanlators, not artists so the only war u can make is post couple of insults in comments, nothing more….
i didnt mean to insult hidoi or anything like that but damn… what right do u have to “start some war” here ? scanlators community should encourage new groups/scanlators, not try to take them down!

anex, in scanlators world, groups like to have just their projects instead of fighting each other who releases next chapters faster. And if someone wants to start doing some group’s project, it would be nice if he at least informed the group about it (best if asked and did accordingly to the answer). The exception to that would be mangas like bleach, naruto, mahou sensei negima and others that are really popular.
If you still don’t understand what I mean, than I meant to say that for the group that works on some project (and it’s not dropped), when someone suddenly starts to do it, it kind of feels like stealing it from us. Since you aren’t in that situation, you probably will just say again “you are only translators, not artists” since it’s him that’s working to make it.
To the website owner: We hope you will drop onani, as we aren’t really keen on having conflicts with other people for such reasons. Also, I hope you won’t take insult from this reply.
I see your point, therefore I could apologize instead of scanlator if you want, but seeing as to that the FANS that want to actually read this manga all agree to give the project to him since he plans to finish it recently, then I think you should have no problem with it too!
I mean, c’mon, I didn’t think you were like all the other ‘big’ groups that start ‘wars’ over someone stealing 1 project this small when u guys have like 50 other projects and also release this project only once per month or more. so please just let it go and let him scanlate!
I see, so what you’re saying is that your quality is not good enough to stand on its own, so you must be the only game in town. Well, these releases are faster and look/read better, so I guess you would feel threatened by their existence. Really though, so long as both of you are releasing unauthorized translations and attaching them to illegal copies of the manga, crying about “sub ethics” is a little hilarious. Fade away into the night, you won’t be missed with your pointless drama.
Oh waaaa. You want to be the only group scanning a series, do it quickly so no one else comes in an finishes it instead. If you leave a completed series out there, someone who wants to practice, or even just give the fans what they want, has every right to pick up where you left off.

I understand your point hidoi…i just dont understand why the word “stealing”. Nobody have stolen anything from ya, your group can still release onani at their own pace and quality right ?
MSpaint trans anon here. Back when Hidoi had no releases coming for weeks/months, I decided to relieve some of the anguish and translate a chapter (number seven, I believe). Shit wasn’t good quality, but it got the story across. Uguu also started translating, and the readers were happy.
Later on, Hidoi started releasing chapters. They were higher quality and not filled with uguus, so once again, the readers profited.
Ultimately, the winners are the readers. If you can jump in when someone else is being a slow-ass, you’re helping the readers. If you can provide quality translations, you’re helping the readers. Fansubs/scantalations are done as a service to others without expecting any return. That should be the spirit in which you do translations. You shouldn’t do it just for the recognition.
now now come on guys hidoi was the 1st group to pick up this manga so u should give them some credit, and also i dunno if insulting them is the right thing to do after reading their releases (actually the opposite would be quite fitting)
also everyone with some little intellect should be able to get their point… on the other hand though this is a free world (well everyone knows it isnt but whatever) so its up to ppl like EE to pick up whichever manga they want to (and if he/she is going at it with this pace i doubt the fans are going to dislike it^^)
