Expected retail price: 1300 yen, according to Ise Katsura. Amazon doesn’t have a price listed yet, but I hope that it will be cheaper. 1300 seems like a lot for a 300 page softcover novel, but then again I haven’t bought that many light novels, so I don’t think I’m in a place to judge.
The logo looks pretty hilarious, though.

Future Project(?)
Thanks for all your suggestions. It’s taken me a long time to look through everything, but now since I’ve kind of got what I want to do in mind, I’ll start working on whatever I end up choosing my spare time. I won’t be able to churn out stuff at my OMK rate (because that was, in retrospect, absolutely insane), but I think I can promise at least 1-2 chapters, if not more, each week. I like a more character driven, interesting story, instead of something that’s just repetition/mindless fanservice. Not that those things don’t have their own merits, mind you, but it’s just not something that I’m too interested in working on at the moment. With that said… here’s what I think:
My thoughts:
*At first I had intended to do Legend of Koizumi, but since the group that was working on it seems to have picked up again, I’ll defer. Same deal with Moyashimon, although I was planning to pick up at volume 5ish where the anime left off… but oh well! It’s been licensed anyway, and the first volume is coming out next month to a bookstore near you (if you’re American), so support the artist by buying his book, etc.
*NO MORE CHANGE 123 OK STOP ASKING ME PLEASE
*Kyo Musume seemed pretty interesting but the sheer walls of text was pretty much a “no”. I realize Moyashimon suffers from the same problem, but since the subject material interests me (I am a bio major, after all) it wouldn’t have really been a problem. Plus, you’re learning something at the same time! Yay learning!
*Let’s not suggest stuff that people are currently working on, okay? If it looks like it’s been dropped or put on hiatus then it’s fine, but otherwise let’s just not go there. (I know I’m eating my own words on this, but what happened in the past stays in the past, and so let’s put that behind us)
Here are the candidates I’ve selected for what I’m going to work on, in order of my interest, from most to least:
1. Boys On The Run
– This is what I’ll probably end up doing. It’s another sort of coming-of-age story, where a loserly guy becomes a boxer. It’s got pretty much the whole package. Drama, comedy, action, etc.
2. Tanka (Short Song)
– Your standard love story adapted from a light novel, but with JAPANESE POETRY involved, HELL YEAH!!! This actually is pretty neat, because I think that translating the poetry that appears (there is a lot of it) would be kind of fun. If you don’t know what a tanka is, it’s 5-7-5-7-7 syllable form Japanese poetry. I kind of want to work on this as well… damn. The art is pretty nice to boot.
3. Batting Female Doctor Saori
Comedy option. It’s pretty terrible. Hot female doctor goes around curing people/inanimate objects by hitting them with a baseball bat. Yeah. I’ll do one chapter or something so everyone can see how terrible it is, hahahaha

Can you do Rabuyan, I checked musashi but it has been a long time since a new chapter has appeared so If you could do at least a few chapters I would be grateful.

Oh my god. I feel sorry for EE man. Just a constant stream of Change 123. I certainly hope he never takes up just because of behavior like this. At least Gollum is making a suggestion I haven’t seen around. As for my suggestion Hoshi no Samidare(Lucifer and The Biscuit Hammer) which has been dead for like 3 months just like the rest of SnoopyCool’s work.
I was going to say Ressentiment, since it was the last chapter was released a year and then some ago, but then I checked kotonoha’s site, and wouldn’t you know it, two chapters. Funny how that works.
Hey man seriously, u should do change 123. Alotta people read it and was real popular until snoopycool stopped producing. It’s gotta huge fan base and people really like the story, including me. Trust me, u won’t be dissapointed. It’s a real cool manga. But if you don’t that’s cool, just thought I’d suggest it.

Seriously, you guys are fucking children. If he doesn’t want to do Change 123 (Yes, I like it too, but you guys are overreacting.) he doesn’t have to. Stop pressuring him, plus he put it in capital letters that he won’t be doing it.

Hmm… I dunno, where I live paying 10-15 bucks for a good, 300-500 page book/novel is a good buy. I’ve read my favorite Tom Clancy books several times over. I’m not too connected with the current dollar-yen exchange rate but I think 1300 yen is okay.
You make a good point. I guess it doesn’t really matter how much it costs, I know that I’m getting a good product that I will re-read in the end anyways!
For a one man wrecking crew 1-2 chapters a week is still great, especially when its stuff that other groups don’t even look at. I’m sure I’ll read whatever you scan, you seem to have good taste.
So not going to do Rabuyan? It was a pretty funny manga, had a few good chuckles.

please consider kamen teacher. it’s by the creator of GTO. illuminati placed it on hold because there is no translator. ncis made no indication of having it as a project at all. as for franky-house, i have no idea … but i heard the raws are hard to find. if you consider this one .. good luck.
